Full day up to 7 hours. Fishing from a 15ft loch boat. Trolling or fly fishing for trout. Loch Frisa has always been one of my favourite places to fish for brown trout on Mull although it does hold both salmon and sea trout which can sometimes be caught. Loch Frisa is the largest fresh water loch on Mull approximately 4.5 miles long. Fishing from a boat we can cover all the best spots on the loch with ease, trolling lures or fly fishing as we go.
The loch has great numbers of wild brown trout and it is one of those places where you are almost…..! sure of catching something. Some days we have seen more than 30 trout from 2 rods for the day. Over the years I have caught some huge trout up to 15lbs in weight.
The day includes 15 foot loch boat, fishing permits, outboard motor and fuel, a selection of lures to use, lifejackets and a fishing guide.
Salmon and Sea Trout are migratory fish and spend much of their time out at sea, they do however return to the rivers and lochs to breed and are found in the waters here on Mull from the middle of June onwards and we can fish for them through until the end of October when the season finishes.
